The SHS boys soccer team met Collinsville on the field Tuesday, March 6 and come out on top 7-5 after a tie-breaker.

The game ended regulation play at a three to three tie. Goals were scored by Korey Stogsdill, Jase Dohn and Justin Ervin.

The Bulldogs and the Cardinals set up to face each other in the penalty kick tie-breaking procedure. Each team chose their five kickers. Derek Eckenfels saved the first penalty kick by Collinsville, the first of two saves during the tie-breaker.

Jase Dohn, Caden Stumpff, Greyden Jackson and Dylan Geib all scored during the penalty phase. Collinsville missed the fourth penalty kick, and with the two saves by goalie Eckenfels, the Bulldogs won 7-5.

The Lady Dawgs also defeated Collinsville 2-0 with Madison Patton and Courtney Eddings scoring goals. Goalie Kylie Wilkerson had six saves during the game.
