A Mattrick Matussak RBI-single capped a four-run first inning, as the Eagles cruised to a 6-3 win over Skiatook Saturday.

The only spark from the Bulldogs was a three-run third inning that cut the lead to 4-3.

Errors led to two more Sequoyah runs in the fifth which basically iced the game. The Bulldogs didn’t get a hit the rest of the game.

Skiatook had five error, but Sequoyah had three of its own.

But thanks to Jon Snipes on the mound, the Eagles were never in danger. He went six innings and allowed three runs, just one earned, on only three hits. He struck out nine.

He also doubled at the plate and was one of six Eagles with a hit.
