Seniors on the Skiatook softball team were recognized in September.

Six seniors played their final season as Skiatook Bulldogs this year: Taylor Boone, Chloe Cooper, Rosa Guardiola, Olivia Jones, Morgan Worley and Mallory Jackson.

The softball team has a record of 11-13 on the season and defeated Bishop Kelley 2-0 on senior night. The girls gave it their all this season and had some impressive wins including a second place finish at the Dewey Tournament.

Coach Angela Foster taught the team to relax and just play. She said, “We worked on in the box and being more aggressive. We are proud of our girls and know what they are capable of. We just need to get them to realize it!”

The team faces McAlester October 5 in the first round of regionals play
